Director / Writer
Place. Character.
Emotional truth.

From the Ozarks
to the coast.
C Wayne France is a Southern California-based director and writer of character-driven narrative work. Born and raised in the Ozarks, he tells stories shaped by place, memory, and the private weight people carry.
His process begins with the actor: finding behavior before explanation, restraint before emphasis, and emotional truth without sentimentality.
Years in photojournalism and cinematography sharpened his eye for unguarded moments and lived-in detail. That visual foundation now serves the performance, the story, and the world around it. The landscape matters, but always for what it reveals about the people moving through it.
